KidShield360 Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Parent account information

We may collect parent account details such as name, email address, phone number, login credentials, plan/subscription status, support messages, and payment or payment-request status.

Child profile information

Parents may add child details such as child name, age, phone number, profile photo, pairing/link code, and device association information.

Location and safety information

When enabled by the parent and allowed on the child device, KidShield360 may collect live location, last known location, location update time, battery/status information, safe-zone settings, and related arrival/departure or safety alerts.

Device and parental-control information

For safety features, the Kid app may use permissions such as Location, Notifications, Usage Access, Accessibility, Display over other apps, Foreground Service, and Device Admin/Protected Mode. Depending on the enabled features, we may process app usage/activity summaries, app-rule settings, blocked-app events, device protection status, and heartbeat/status updates.

Support and communication data

If a parent uses Live Support, we collect support messages, replies, timestamps, and support thread status so our admin support team can respond.

2. How we use information

• To create and manage parent accounts and child profiles.
• To link a child device to the parent account using a child link code.
• To provide live location, safe-zone, SOS, activity, and parental-control features.
• To help parents manage app rules, protected mode, and child device safety settings.
• To process trial/subscription status and show payment-required messages when needed.
• To respond to parent support messages and maintain support history.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve service reliability.

3. Sensitive permissions and visible disclosure

KidShield360 uses sensitive permissions only for child safety and parental-control features. The app should show clear permission explanations and visible disclosure to parents and children. Protected Mode should not be used to secretly monitor another person.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share or process data with service providers needed to operate the platform, such as hosting providers, payment providers, Google/Firebase services, and support tools, only as necessary to provide KidShield360 features.

5. Data retention

We retain account, child, safety, location, support, and subscription data while the account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Parents may request deletion or removal of a child profile where available.

6. Parent controls and deletion requests

Parents may edit or remove child profiles in the app where available. Parents may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of account or child information, subject to identity verification and legal or safety retention requirements.

7. Children’s privacy

KidShield360 is intended to be managed by parents or legal guardians. Parents are responsible for ensuring that use of the app is appropriate for their child and allowed by applicable law. The Kid app is intended to be visible and used for family safety, not secret monitoring.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect account and safety data. However, no system is guaranteed to be 100% secure.

9. International users

Data may be processed and stored on servers or services located outside your country. By using KidShield360, you understand that data may be processed where our hosting or service providers operate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
