KidShield360 Child Safety Policy
KidShield360 is built for child safety and parental guidance. This policy explains our safety principles for visible parental control, protected mode, location sharing, and responsible app use.
1. Family safety purpose
KidShield360 is intended to help parents or legal guardians protect their own children or dependents by providing safety tools such as live location, safe zones, SOS alerts, activity visibility, app rules, and protected-mode guidance.
2. No hidden tracking or stalking
KidShield360 must not be used as a hidden tracker, stalkerware, or surveillance tool. The Kid app should be visible on the child device, and protected mode should be explained as a safety feature.
3. Visible disclosures and permissions
When the Kid app requests sensitive permissions, the app should explain why each permission is needed. These may include Location, Usage Access, Accessibility, Display over other apps, Notifications, Foreground Service, and Device Admin/Protected Mode.
4. Parent responsibility
Parents are responsible for setting up the app only on devices they are legally allowed to manage. Parents should use the service in a way that is appropriate for the child’s age, local law, and family safety needs.
5. Protected mode
Protected mode is designed to help prevent accidental or unauthorized disabling of safety features. It should include visible disclosure and should not be used to secretly control another person’s device.
6. Location safety
Location data is used to help parents locate their child, receive safe-zone updates, and respond to safety events. Location accuracy can vary due to GPS, Wi-Fi, network signal, battery settings, and device restrictions.
7. Reporting abuse or misuse
If you believe KidShield360 is being misused, contact KidShield360 support through the app Live Support feature or through the contact details published on the KidShield360 website.
